Wow! That's What I Call Networking...SMPS' December Membership Event
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fun, relaxing, and meaningful holiday. Wanted to share with everyone how our SMPS Holiday Networking Event: 10 Fellows and Members You Need to Meet went...we had over 50 people attend. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Jessica Shipley with Beck and Loette Robinson with Halff for all their help putting the event together. Our membership events wouldn't happen without a committee.
Prime Bar was a great choice and perfect venue. In addition to meeting and greeting with fellow A/E/C peers we also held a Senior Citizen's Drive. We were very pleased with the donations and want to say thank you to everyone who donated items. In moving forward with the Power of 10 campaign we had fellows and members represented at the event identified as People You Need to Know. Some of our members that represented SMPS for the evening included: Nancy Usrey with HNTB, Summer Hudson with Beck, Jan Krause with GSR Andrade Architects, and Mike Wagner with Alan Plummer Associates.

One of our doorprizes for the evening was a complimentary registration to the Southern Regional Conference taking place in San Antonio on January 25th - 27th.
