Diana has been an SMPS member since 2008 after being recruited by David Velarde to join the communications committee. She was the 2009 Gala finance chair and continues to serve as editor and contributing writer for the newsletter. Diana has been with URS for five years and is the marketing thought leader responsible for internal and external communication vehicles, including conceptualization, writing and delivery.for the East 1, Region 1 operation.  Her primary duties include crafting regional messages and award submissions, performing market research and lending a shoulder to any and all on which to cry.

Diana is a single mom to her 14-year-old daughter, Jennifer and, in a previous lifetime, was a comedian and singer.
