History
The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973 by a small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities. Today, the association has a membership of 6,000+ marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada.

Dianne Fletcher - Purdy-McGuire- Employed by Purdy-McGuire for 46 years and is currently the majority stockholder and CEO/CFO
- Oversees Purdy-McGuire University
- Served on the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce for ten years and was the first woman to serve as Chairman of the Board
- Recognized as Citizen of the Year of the Metrocrest Chamber in 1994
- Served on the Board of the Easter Seals for Children
- Served on the Board of the Communities Foundation of Texas
- Served as the Chairman of the Education Committee, SMPS
- Member, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)
- Member, Women's Business Council Southwest
- Married for 45 to Ed; they have three children and three grandchildren
- Dianne and Ed are members of the Dallas Safari Club and served as Co-chairs of the Silent Auction
- Dianne enjoys watching her Labrador Retrievers compete in Field Trials, hunting, fishing, quilting and going on safari in Africa
- Founding principal of WJHW and led marketing and business development efforts for 17 years
- Started his career as a sales representative in the fields of audio and acoustics
- Retired in 2006
- Served for 12 years as a volunteer Sheriff's Deputy in Denton County and is now a paid Deputy
- Bill is an avid Elvis fan

- 1978 assumed new role of Director of Marketing for Corporate Facilities
- 1991 led SHWB to the organization of SHW Group, Inc.
